Dr. Daniel M. Quaye lectures in entrepreneurship, innovation management, and business plans at the University of Ghana Business School. He is also the coordinator of the Centre for Management Research & Professional Development and the Enterprise Development Service. He is the Regional Coordinator of English-speaking Africa for the Executive Master’s in Development Policies and Practices program. His research interest lies in the empirical testing of factors shaping business growth from an African perspective, innovative initiatives as reflected in new product development, corporate and cognitive processes in decision-making, and microfinance operational strategies. He has presented papers at various conferences and has published articles. Quaye has undertaken numerous small enterprise, microfinance finance and innovation consulting assignments for organisations such as the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), based in Geneva, Lion Services Corporation in Australia, and the South Sudan Development Agency (SSUDA). In Ghana, he has consulted for organizations that include the Minerals Commission, Provident Insurance, the Australian High Commission, the Canadian High Commission, the British Council, Care International, and International Needs and Technoserve. Dr. Quaye holds a PhD from Deakin University in Australia, a master’s degree from the University of Queensland, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Canberra. Dr. Quaye has worked in New York, Washington D.C. and East Africa for the New York City Tribune. He has undertaken consulting work for organizations such as the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) based in Geneva, and the South Sudan Development Agency (SSUDA).
